First up: it’s happening. The first book to be officially released in the Veil & Valor universe is Of Fire, Flesh, and Fables, a seductive, twisted, and myth-soaked collection of dark fairy tales. Think: ancient forests that whisper secrets, monstrous lovers with hearts of gold (and claws), and just the right amount of smut to ruin your favorite folklore forever, in the best way.

This book stands alone, but it peeks behind the curtain of the larger world. You’ll see hints. Symbols. Names that echo. And maybe even a few characters who burn their way into the main series...

🔥 Shadows of A Withering Heart – Where the War Begins

Ohhh, this book. This book. It’s a tangled knot of rebellion, betrayal, aching intimacy, and a city, Golnix, that’s bleeding magic like a dying sun. Violet and Ryland are…complicated (and that’s putting it gently). There are secrets. There are impossible choices. And yes, there are steamy moments. But this isn’t just romance; it’s revolution.

I’ve been deep in the slow burn of it all, building tension scene by scene. We’re around 150 pages in and aiming for 300, and I’m layering in everything I love: corrupted politics, morally gray lovers, secret tunnels, glowing forests, and plot twists sharp enough to cut bone. Expect:

• Rebellion sparking in the shadows

• Public accusations and political games

• A forbidden garden meeting (that someone will definitely misinterpret)

• A thief with charm and bad decisions in his eyes
